Welcome To The Words For Life
Our purpose in this web site is to share with those who
would be interested in learning how to live free apart from sin. We will share what we have been
taught bythe Spirit of God for living a life that
is pleasing to the Father. In the writings we will demonstrate that the grace of God is His power in
love. That defining grace as mere favor is why His people have been overcome by the world, the flesh and the
devil.
Our life goal is to be holiness unto the Lord. Holiness is a
definite work of the grace of God. Daily salvation is experienced by grace. Grace is received through
faith by boldly entering the throne of grace in time of need. Our life of holiness is
accomplished by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. It is through the power of Christ resting upon us
that we are empowered to resist sin in our times if temptation.
Crucified with Christ
I live, yet it is not I that live but, Christ who lives in
me. This abundant spiritual life that I live in this body is because of the faith of Christ. I believe in
Christ so that lives in me. This is why I must be crucified with Christ.
Gal 2:20-21 (KJV)20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but
Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who
loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness
comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
This must be the life of every believer in
Christ. If this is not our belief, it certainly should be. But, unfortunately, for many, it is not
the life they have embraced. We say we are in Christ because we are born again. The question is not are we in
Christ but, is Christ's life abundant in us?
Accepting Christ as our Savior is just the
beginning of His life in us. Jesus must become Lord of our lives. That requires us to be renewed in the spirit of
our mind. We must be renewed in our mind so that we are no longer conformed to this world. We must die to our old
sinful nature so that the power of Christ may transform us into His express image.
Is it the world, the flesh, and the devil that is keeping us
from an intimate and rewarding relationship with the Father? Is it our jobs? Is it being addicted to
our way of life? Is it a broken relationship? Is it when we have made enough money that we will
seek the Father? Those are the things that must be nailed to the cross so that He might live in us and so that
we might TRULY LIVE. With everything I have learned of the Holy Spirit who abides within me, I urge all
of you to make the decision today to allow Christ to crucify your fleshly desires and passions. The
Father will never fellowship with us when we walk in darkness.
1 John 1:5-65 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you,
that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we
lie and do not practice the truth. (NKJV)
