Those led by the Spirit are the sons of God

Those who are led by the Spirit become the sons of God. Becoming a son of God does not happen just because we receive Christ. Receiving Christ opens the way to become a son of God.
John 1:12 12 But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
To become a son of God we must pursue the high calling of God in Christ Jesus and put to death the deeds of the body by obeying the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. We all desire to become sons but it appears that for most of His children our suffering with Christ has caused us to lose our zeal to pursue. To become a son we must suffer or endure the temptation to do evil. Through our suffering with Christ we bring about our maturity in Him. We have all accepted mentally the promise of becoming a joint heir but we have forgotten to embrace the glory of our suffering with Christ to become an heir.
Romans 8:17 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
In today’s teaching it appears that to be led by the Spirit has nothing to do with putting to death the deeds of the body. Today’s teaching id more about giving to get then putting to death the deeds of the body. When we look into the Word of God we begin to understand that being led by the Spirit is to put to death the sin that dwells within our flesh. It dwells within our flesh because sin has been condemned in the flesh through Christ. This explains why if we live after the flesh we die in our soul, because “the soul those sins shall surely die.”
Romans 8:10-13 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
We often hear teaching about the creation waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God in order to deliver the creation from the bondage of corruption. As we become mature sons of God it is we who are freed from the corruption that has held us captive. When the sons are perfected and are lacking nothing in their Christ authored faith, then they will be free from the bondage of corruption. At this point the sons will have entered into the fullness of Christ that dwells within all of us.
Romans 8:18-20 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
“Led by the Spirit" does not mean that the Spirit is subject to our whims but that we are subject to His commands to resist sin. The Spirit has been given to lead us into all truth and away from sin and death. Those that are Christ’s have crucified their flesh by being baptized into His death burial and resurrection. It is this union with Christ and the power of grace that makes it possible for us to resist the temptation that draws us away from the glory of God.
James 1:12-14 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
When we are led by the voice of the Spirit in the paths of righteousness and obey we are found in His righteousness of faith. Following the voice of Holy Spirit is being renewed in the spirit of our mind daily to overcome the corruption that dwells within our flesh and desires to lead us astray. When we follow the voice of our flesh we are partaking of what is forbidden and are not renewed in the spirit of our mind. We are not renewed if we disobey because it is the voice of the flesh that ruled our mind before the indwelling Spirits leadership.

Eph 4:22-28 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil. 28
Gal 5:24-25 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit
So putting to death the deeds of the body "by the Spirit" means having a mindset through which the Holy Spirit speaks to us to reprove and free us from the power of corruption. Without allowing the reproving of our old habits we will not grow to maturity in Christ. With out experiencing the power of true grace we will not experience the freedom that becoming a son provides in freeing us from the bondage of corruption. "If by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. All who put to death the deeds of the body are being led by the Spirit and these are the sons of God." Paul restates "putting to death the deeds of the body by the Spirit" with the words, "if you are led by the Spirit you are the sons of God." The question to ask ourselves is “am I a son of God through obeying the Spirit or am I still a child of God laden down with sin walking after my flesh?” We must begin to understand the difference before the return of Christ if we are to be seen in glory with Him as sons.
Gal 5:16-18 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
The voice of our flesh wants to lead us into sin and death but the voice of the Spirit is drawing us unto eternal life. As we follow the voice of the Spirit we are not under the influence of the law but under the influence of saving grace. As we follow the desires of the flesh, death is working in us and eternal life is escaping us because we have rejected the power of saving grace.

Something that has been lost today concerning “under grace” is that grace must have dominion over our soul for us to be free from corruption. Just as the law had dominion over us and brought about sin and death, grace must have dominion over us to bring about liberty to choose life in following the Spirit. We can not say we are under grace and continue in disobedience to the Spirit and still profess we have eternal life. To be under the influence of true grace is to be free from the power of sin and death which is from the influence of the law. This is not saying we are free from temptation, tribulation and persecution. When under true grace we are free to make Godly decisions after the Spirit as sons. When we continue to use our liberty under grace and choose to live after the flesh we remain a child of disobedience. As a child of disobedience we are under the Law and there remains no more sacrifice for sins under the Law. We must remain in Christ and under grace to enjoy His once and for all sacrifice for our sins past and present. Today when we go astray we must confess and repent to return to the liberty of saving grace. Without confession and repentance today leaves us without a sacrifice for our sins.
Heb 10:26-29 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
The Holy Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. It is this relationship with God we have been given His ability under grace to live righteously in Christ as we follow the Spirit.
Romans 8:16 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
If you belong to Jesus Christ, we have the Spirit of life in Christ. The Spirit desires to lead us away from the desires of our sinful nature so that we maintain Eternal life and are pleasing to our Father. If we continue to follow the carnal mind which incites us to sin we have not “suffered with Christ” we have rejected our gift of Christ to be righteous. When we continue to live according to the fleshly nature there remains no more sacrifice for our sins because there is no more sacrifice under the law. Grace is not a covering for our sin. It is the strength of our salvation to resist sin at the leading of the Spirit. To continue in sin after receiving Christ without confession and repentance leaves us without a sacrifice for our present sins. No confession and repentance means no remission of our present sins, no remission means the law resumes dominion over us. The law has no more sacrifice for sins; therefore we must be lead by the Spirit to fulfill the righteousness of faith.
Romans 8:4-9 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
So the conclusion is that the leading of the Spirit is to show us the weaknesses that need to be surrendered to the power of grace. When lead by the flesh what changes is our covering. Our covering is either the Law or grace. When we set grace aside we are found as transgressors in need of a savior. Because we have built again the old sins anew by disobeying the voice of the Spirit, now we need to confess and repent to experience the return to the dominion of grace over our soul.
Gal 2:17-18 17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. 18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
We have been adopted as children of God with the power to become His sons. The Spirit leads us away from our sinful flesh. By His power under grace we put to death the deeds of the body that keep us as immature babes waiting for the judgment seat of Christ. Our suffering with Christ to become a son teaches us to resist the temptation to depart from the leading of the Spirit in our fiery trials. Being drawn into sin rejects the leadership of the Spirit and returns the dominion of the law over us. We are to endure hardship as a good soldier in Christ and rejoice and glorify our God. What glory is there if we disobey the Spirit?
Romans 8:13-18 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
If we are His child, we will become heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him." There are two outstanding truths in this verse: one is that we are going to receive a great inheritance, including our own glorified body; and the second truth is that we are going to suffer temptation, tribulation and persecution in order to fulfill these promises. All is for the glory to be revealed in us, “Christ in you the hope of glory.”
What is the inheritance promised to the sons? The promise to Abraham or to his seed, Christ, is that he would be heir of the world. This promise was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith. What is the righteousness of faith? The righteousness of faith is to believe that we have been given everything in Christ necessary to obey what is requested by the Spirit. If we are of the faith of Abraham, then we are fellow heirs with him, and the inheritance is "the world." Abraham went to the mountain to sacrifice Isaac knowing if he did God would raise him from the dead because Isaac was the promise by faith. Obedience is not optional it is mandatory to be of faith if we are going to inherit with faithful Abraham.
Romans 4:13 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
So if the earth is the Lord's and everything in it, then the heirs of the Lord will inherit the earth and everything in it.
Psalms 2:7-8 7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
And if we become heirs with the Son, then we shall inherit the nations with Christ. The living hope in the Spirit for every saint is described as follows. We should never believe that we will inherit from disobedience to the Spirit.
Rev 21:3-4 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
The Father and Christ are our inheritance; the Lord himself! We need to cultivate the desire for him and his fellowship. If His fellowship is not precious to us, we will be a stranger to our inheritance! We insult our Lord when we delight more in the gifts than our worship of God Himself. The gifts are not our portion, God Himself is our portion. We were made for His pleasure not for ours. All the glorious things that He has made are meant to reveal His glory and bring our hearts rejoicing and singing praises to His name. What we must remember is what the Word tells us about how to inherit all things and what would prevent us from inheriting all things.
Romans 8:17 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Our being glorified with Christ and our inheritance is conditional upon our joyful suffering with him. We learn the necessity for obedience through the things we suffer. Not only are we to suffer with Him but we must be thankful and praise God in our suffering. Our exceeding living hope must be to the glory of God that is to be revealed in us.
Luke 9:23-24 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
2 Tim 3:12 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Heb 12:4-8 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
1 Peter 4:12-14 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
The promises in the Word are to the overcomers, to those who seek fellowship with the Lord and repent of their insulting the Spirit of Grace. Those who listen and repent are sons and will have a full inheritance in the Father and Christ. Those who reject the truth are in danger of the wrath of God.
Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Rev 2:17 17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Rev 2:26-29 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Rev 3:5-6 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. 6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Rev 3:12-13 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Rev 3:20-22 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what
What is this fiery trial for? It is to try us and see if we are being found in the faith. The fiery trial is to root out an evil heart and produce the fullness of Christ in us. If we do not embrace the trials, there will be no gain. If we do not take up our cross daily, there will be no crown of life. If we do not embrace our suffering and glorify God in it and for it, there will be no inheritance only disappointment. That is what God has said in His Word and to be a son we must agree with God.

Does the Word tell us why suffering must precede glory? Yes we can understand why suffering brings about His glory in us. We must gain patience, experience and hope, and we must allow patience to have a perfect work in us so that we will not be ashamed at the appearing of our Lord. When patience has had a perfect work we will be complete lacking nothing in our faith.
Romans 5:1-5 1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
With out the trial of our faith how would we know if we will be found in the faith and able to experience the power of grace? We need to understand if our house is built on the sand (wood, hay or stubble) or built on gold silver and precious stones (faith). The latter are refined in the fiery process. Take a deep thoughtful look at verse 2 above. “By whom we have access by faith into this Grace Wherein we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.” Our ability to stand and not deny our faith in the depth of the fiery trial is the power of Grace accessed by faith. We must learn to boldly enter the throne of grace and request mercy and grace to help in time of need. This scripture is saying to us that God has given us the way to stand and rejoice in the necessity of our trials and keep the faith.
Eph 3:16-20 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
If there were no afflictions or tribulations or temptations then our growth, love and loyalty to Christ, our first love, would not be proven. Wouldn’t we fall ever more deeply in love with the comforts and securities and pleasures of this world without our trials? The love of the world is enmity with God. We are being given the opportunity to understand whether our true love is Christ in us or the pleasures of this world for a season.

Our life is a journey and we are on our way to receive a new city. That new city is adorned with our righteous acts.
Rev 19:7-9 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.
The Word tells us that God is our inheritance not this worlds goods. If we are to receive what God has promised we must mature into sons. We can no longer afford to be “tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine but must receive and obey the truth. Verse 18 below says it pretty plain. Either we follow the voice of the Spirit to sons or we follow the works of the flesh unto spiritual death.
Gal 5:16-26 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
We see in scripture that receiving the Spirit does not make us sons. It gives us the power to become sons. We must walk in the Spirit to enter into sonship.

Some in America believe that those who demonstrate the gifts of the Spirit are really the blessed of the Lord. The gifts do not validate our sonship, they validate God’s word as true. Never the less, we tend to idolize those who move in the “gifts” as being exceptional and more blessed. The gifts and calling are without repentance. The ability to heal the sick or cast out demons should not be viewed as someone having become a son of God but as God blessing those in need. Do we understand that godliness with contentment is great gain? The gaining of the worlds’ goods proves nothing in the walk of faith.
Matt 7:21-23 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
The word of God warns us about idolizing the gifts and ministers who demonstrate them. Our testimony should never be about the gifts but about the God who supplied the gifts to us. We are to overcome the world, flesh and the devil to inherit as sons.
Rev 12:11 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Our testimony that overcomes the accuser of the brothers is developed and maintained along two lines: morality and miracles. If either of these is absent our testimony is not effective. We must be morally pure in heart and demonstrate the miracles of God. Those referred to in Matt:7 were able to perform signs and wonders but were not pure in heart. So they were rejected at the coming of the Lord. These had not sought the glory of God through His fellowship.

Because of the false teaching of "grace" today, the need for morality of the Christians has been nearly obliterated. We simply are devoid of understanding when it comes to the necessity of righteous, holy, obedient behavior in the Kingdom of God. Under the new covenant of grace we are free from the authority of the Law of Moses only on the one condition that we are walking after the Spirit of God. We must be putting to death the deeds of the body by the Spirit to escape the influence of the Law. When we go back to living after the flesh we leave the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ and return to the condemnation of the Law of Moses. What many have failed to understand is that to not be under the Law we must walk by the Spirit of liberty under grace.

Gal 5:18 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Have we really taken to heart what this scripture says? We are either following the voice of the Spirit or we are under the Law. Maybe what has been misunderstood is liberty? We are not at liberty to continue in sin, we are at liberty to resist the power of sin by the strength of grace resting upon us.
Romans 8:3-4 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Gal 5:18 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Throughout the Word of God we see that we must follow the Spirit as He leads us away from sin to the righteousness of Faith to be free under the strength of grace. The guilt that many Christians experience today is not the condemnation of the enemy but the un-confessed sins of following the flesh. It is the Law that is bringing this guilt and condemnation that is felt because of disobedience to the Spirit’s leading us to the righteousness of faith. If we reject the reproving of the Spirit knowingly we will not mature as sons.
John 15:13-17 ;13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
God is raising up sons that can serve as judges of the world and of the angels. If we can not judge ourselves how can we believe we will be appointed to judge the world and the angels? When God has fulfilled His requirements for sons, and these have overcome the accuser by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and by loving not their life unto death the end will come. The questions we need to ask ourselves is are we Christ’s friends, doing His daily commands or are we a friend of this world living after our flesh?

The royal priests that are to rule and reign with Christ must surrender their all to receive this blessing. These will have gone through the purification process on this earth before the return of Christ.

The overcomers will be granted to eat of the tree of life. These will be granted to eat of the hidden manna. They will have power over the nations. They will be clothed in white raiment. These will be pillars in the temple of their God. These will be granted to sit with Christ on His throne. All these promises are to those who overcome the world, the flesh and the devil. The ones who overcome will be the sons/priest of God and His Christ.

The promises are awesome and glorious for those who accept the challenge to become the sons/priests of God. The promises to those who willingly disobey and refuse to love His truth are destined to perish.
2 Thess 2:10-12 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
May we all love His truth and find the grace to stand and be found in the faith of Christ.
